Wondrous drawing. It brought to mind a t-shirt I once saw Senrab wearing. Here’s a puzzler:

What do Sky’s amazing eyes, Ram Das, Steve Jobs, Wavy Gravy, a Brilliant couple, Dr. V., and former members of the Grateful Dead have in common?

    SEVA

I remember that t-shirt; but I cannot solve the puzzle.

    What? What?

    Great work, Sky.

Wait — Do they all have dots where their third eye should be?

Max’s puzzle actually answered itself in ‘invisible’ font… Some digital lemon juice does the trick! The answer is ‘Seva’, meaning ‘selfless service’ and/or compassion depending on who you ask… ‘Seva’ is one of the key principles of Sikhism…Max also provided an invisible link to Seva.org. The Jewish idea of a ‘mitzvah’ (an unselfish kindness) is not all that much different.

Wish I could take credit for the ‘Buddha Eyes’, but it’s just a lame copy of the (better) ones that grace the top of the great Stupa at Katmandu, Nepal:

    But thanks anyway!
    Shanti! ;-)

In Buddhism it’s just compassion, which springs from metta, or ‘loving kindness’, though my heretic gang likes to translate it more as ‘uncritical friendliness.’

Glad you liked the invisible link. fnord

Frickin’ puzzle. ‘Invisible Link’ pbhhht. Hate shit like that.

Here’s an invisible link for you –

Yeah. That’s right. Really invisible. Only the smartest people can figure it out.

And fuck that uncritical friendliness. Friendliness comes with a kick in the nuts, that’s what I say.

An invisible kick in the nuts.
