For no particular reason…

A short clip from “Aeon Flux” (2005) starring the ridiculously beautiful Charlize Theron as Aeon. A stylish live-action version of the Liquid Television animated feature. Charlize doesn’t even mess up her nice white outfit while taking out a whole security detail! ;-)
Graeme Revell’s end titles music reminds me vaguely of Zep’s ‘Kashmir’.

    Beautifully shot. Quite elegant.

She was obviously able to accomplish her intrusion because she was so hard to spot in that outfit.

Ha! Good point! Although she does usually wear the more traditional ‘cat-burglar’ black during her very gymnastic attacks.

The comparisons with ‘Ultraviolet’ (w/ Milla Jovovich) are inevitable I suppose, but Charlize has a grace and elegance that Milla can only approximate IMHO:

Great groove on Beyonce/Shakira ‘Beautiful Liar’ BTW!

I remember watching UV as a delightful guilty pleasure while I was batching it for a couple weeks several years ago. I’ve been a big MJ fan since falling for her one and only (as far as I know) CD recording “The Divine Comedy” almost twenty years back. It was panned by the critics, but I thought it showed some genuine creative talent and she could actually sing pretty damn well too. I even saw her in concert, but it was a very strange show. She seemed to be always on the verge of an emotional meltdown. Somewhat uncomfortable to witness, though not exactly hard on the eyes.

I have to agree that nobody does it better than Charlize, however –
