Ask Aldous: Does Glass Flow Over Time?

byronius, December 12th, 2006

QUESTION:  I HAVE HEARD MANY OF MY FRIENDS SAY THAT GLASS FLOWS OVER TIME, AND THAT YOU SHOULD PERIODICALLY TURN ALL YOUR WINDOWS UPSIDE-DOWN TO COMPENSATE FOR THIS EFFECT, ESPECIALLY CAR WINDOWS, BECAUSE OF THE WIND.  IS THIS TRUE?

ALDOUS ANSWERS:   glass slips over slowly and bends its way into the closet by way of amsterdam and sweet famished lupine overdrive sequoia sinister mack-mack tin ear turmoil.  no one notices until the party.  the glass is heavy with delight, leaping into the pool with a relaxed sigh and true understanding that this is the best moment of its life.  glass is clearly flowing out to the universe with you and i and mack-mack ear.

IT'S AMAZING!!

This is just so wrong. I don't understand. Aldous has answered in a complete riddle. What is wrong with these wombakinnons — can't they be serious and grown-up about anything? Christ On A Crutch!

Everyone knows glass flows over time. Common sense.

    Right?
