Jesus appears quite good-looking and youthful in this picture. A very nice young man with long hair and a beard, very trim and fit.

I think I saw him at an anti-war demonstration.

So, this Guy walks into a life as a Social Reformer. Some Big Money interests try to buy him out — then they threaten him, and smear him and his friends, and finally just kill him. A year later, the guy’s face ends up on a Big Money product label as the New Face of Reformed Money Interests. See, killing him made sales drop — awwwww — but now, he’s leading the way for even higher margins! It’s Beautiful Confusion! His widow sues for misappropriation of the guy’s image — so Big Money has her killed as well. Their kids get dropped in a State Home — where they all get raped and beaten up until they hate everything and everybody, and finally grow up and go to work for Big Money, because a good Hate-On and some Moral Numbness is just what they’re lookin’ for, especially for Big Money Assassins, which is what they end up doing! And that’s how Jesus joined the Republican Party.

    HAHAHAHAHAHA! That’s a good ‘un.

Jesus did come back. And his name was Abbie Hoffman.

    (don’t even bother, charlie.)

Abbie was no Xtian pacifist: he was a radical and atheist, and a marcusian marxist, tho’ a rather colorful if and capricious one, and opposed to capitalism at all levels, and to statist democrats, whether LBJ or Kennedys. And he was fully prepared to engage in revolution. Sowwy to say that, but it’s the truth. Chomsky closer to a Christ figure, for those who need one.

Oh is that so? How about a wager, great thinker. You deny that Hoffman was a marxist? Or that he studied with Marcuse? Care to bet on that? say, $1000. You ever read Chomsky and Russell’s denunciations of the Vietnam War ? (Wroth about 20 times what the yippies spewed). You know nothing.

You’re doing a hustle. That’s what you’ve always done. It’s sort of like selling cars.
